  • College History and Organization

      In Aug, 2006, the school was authorized to establish the preparatory center of College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. In Feb 01, 2007, after the school was renamed as University of Science and Technology, College of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science was formally established.

      The establishment purpose of College of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science is:
    • Cooperating with the national science and technology policy and regional industrial development
    • Fostering the national need of Electrical, Electronic and Information industries technology talents
    • Integrating the school technology research and development team of Electrical, Electronic and Information teachers
    • Enhancing the school R & D and Industry - university cooperation performance in the field of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
    • Accomplishing the relevant resource sharing and technology exchange



  • In cooperation with the vocational skills excellent reengineering program,the college fosters the necessary industry professionals in electrical control technology, electronic technology and information communications technology. And by planning multiple interdisciplinary processes and research teams, and practical and pragmatic philosophy, it can develop a high - tech talents training institution with characteristics of electrical, electronic and information

    • Establish R&D groups to promote industry-university cooperation
      • Establish Intellegent Life Technology Technical Service Center (university units), and services include:
        • Video surveillance system: Like the movie monitoring system - including identification of persons or objects
        • Home care system: Care for infants, patients,and the elderly
        • Physical fitness system: Exercises and fitness related fitness machines
        • Home security system: High-tech intelligence safe house - anti theft/intrusion

      • Establish Information Communication technology (ICT) R & D team
        • With Model University of Science and Technology, ICT R & D team was established to execute industry-university projects of Model University of Science and Technology.
        • Integrate ICT R & D team with the intercollegiate integration R & D team from the college teachers, outside teachers and industry teachers.
        • built machine tools and robotics to remotely automate diagnosis, maintenance and repair of systems, including machine tools, robotics self-diagnostic test,video surveillance (movable), Internet, and mobile cloud monitoring.

      • Establish Electronic Control Technology R & D Team
        • With Model University of Science and Technology, electric control technology R & D team was established to execute services, machine tool industry and electric industry.
        • Integrate the college teacher with outside teachers and industry teachers to establish the intercollegiate integration R & D team.
        • The college produced $ 30 million of industry-university projects annually in cooperation with the enterprise community.
