Chinyi University of Technology combined the Department of Electrical Engineering with the Department of Mechanical Engineering to form an 'Electric Vehicle Fleet', manufacturing two electric vehicles by themselves. The team participated in the 2th National Electric Vehicle Innovation Design and Implementation Competition. Bringing the championship and third place back to school.
On Dec 9, 2019, Ministry of Technology, Research and Higher Education, RISTEKDIKTI come to visit 2+i program's students’ learning situation and environment. This visit made the guests deeply support and affirm the teaching quality, academic research, development efforts and future development direction of the university.
In late November, Dean Her-Terng Yau led a team to visit POLITEKNIK MANUFAKTUR NEGERI BANDUNG in Indonesia. Dean Yau actively promotes academic exchanges such as admissions, exchanges, and internships, introducing the characteristics of each department, outstanding faculty member and learning resources, and cooperating with the Ministry of Education's new southward policy to strengthen multicultural exchanges.
In order to enhance international cooperation and improve students' international perspective and language skills, Dean Her-Terng Yau led a team to Nanyang Technological University in Singapore for academic exchange on October 20-23, 2019.
On September 11, 2019, Japan's Kitami Institute of Technology visited NCUT's College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Kitami Institute of Technology's teacher led 4 students to visit the laboratory environment of the three departments, conducted academic exchanges, and implemented the campus internationalization.
In order to implement campus internationalization, our college has cooperated with the Ministry of Education's "Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) Program" , inviting 15 outstanding students from Vel Tech and Bhilai Institute in India to NCUT for academic exchanges. The program is expected to help promoting international cooperation to enhance students' international perspective and language skills.
The college held this camp in order to promote international exchange and enhance NCUT's international reputation, expanding students' horizon and competitiveness in employment, and promoting their willingness to participate in courses.
Fourteen students from India's Bhilai Institute of Technology, five students from India's Chitkara University and one student from Japan's National Institute of Technology, Nara College were invited for a one-month exchange program.
The college runs 9-day 8-night international robot winter camp from January 29 to February 6,2018. In addition to the professional courses, field trips are also planned for the exchange students to get to know more about Taiwan's culture. A total of 25 students from Sin Min High School in Malaysia, Chan Yau Chong High School in Vietnam, Lung Chang High School in Vietnam, Vietnam University of Vietnam and Enspire School of Digital Art in Indonesia were invited to attend the camp
The summer camp is held in the purpose of promoting international exchange, broadening students' horizons and enhancing our employability. A total of 41 teachers and students took part in the event which included 9 from Aberdeen Technical School, 19 from Po On Commercial Association Wong Siu Ching Secondary School, 9 from Pui Ying Secondary School, and 4 from Ju Ching Chu Secondary School (Kwai Chung Branch).
In order to promote international exchange, broaden students' horizons and enhance our employability, the summer camp will be held from 12 July to 26 July, 2017. About 15 young students and teachers from India will be invited to visit NCUT during the summer vacation for short-term exchange with the goal to enhance international cooperation and to enhance our students' international perspective and language proficiency.
IS3C2020 is The Fifth International Symposium on Computer, Consumer and Control sponsored by National Chin-Yi University of Technology. This conference offers a great opportunity for scientists, engineers, and practitioners to present the latest research results, ideas, developments, and applications. IS3C, held every two years, is hosted by National Chin-Yi University of Technology, Taichung, Taiwan. As suggested by the name of the conference, the themes of this conference cover advanced multimedia, computer, telecommunication, sensors and semiconductor, consumer electronics, renewable energy, systems and control, and digital signal processing. Original high-quality papers related to these themes are especially solicited, including theories, methodologies, and applications in Computing, Consumer and Control. Selected papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Selected papers will be recommended to related SCI/EI journals for publication.
On December 12-16, 2019, the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science led a team to Changzhou Institute of Technology in China to participate "2019 The 13-th Cross-Strait Technology, Humanity Education and Academy-Industry Cooperation Conference" .
On December 18, 2019, Japan's Kyushu Institute of Technology visited NCUT's International Affairs Office. NCUT has actively conducted academic exchanges with international schools, enhancing the international connotation of teaching and research, constructing the campus an international learning environment.
